Concerning Independent School Axis Axis is a 501(c)( 3) nonprofit organization that partners with Los Angeles area independent institutions to produce pathways for underrepresented students and family members of color to access, navigate, and grow secretive education. Independent schools do not properly represent the total Los Angeles population, where over 70% of residents are people of shade. Via our Axis friends, we support trainees and educators of color as they access private education opportunities with our continuous assistance. We additionally collaborate with Companion Schools across L.A. to make a long lasting and transformative influence on their diversity, equity, incorporation, and responsibility (DEIA) techniques.
